Spectrum For Violin is an exciting introduction to the music of today for all violinists. The 16 pieces included have been specially commissioned from some of today's leading composers and reflect current compositional trends. With at least one piece at each of Grades 1 to 8, there's something here for players of all ages and abilities.

Included is a a recording of the 16 pieces, performed by violinist Alexandra Wood - compiler of this volume - and pianist Thalia Myers. The CD also contains recorded accompaniments for the two works composed for Violin and soundtrack.
