The complete set of Nicolas Medtner's 6 Marchen Op.51 or 6 Fairy Tales for Piano solo. This was his last original collection bearing the Fairy tales name, given to many of his piano pieces since 1904. His rich compositions are loaded with references to literature and symbolism, combining the styles of German art-songs with Russian Romance.
