Hymns For Private was commissioned by Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam and Wigmore Hall, London, with the support of André Hoffmann, President of the Fondation Hoffmann,a Swiss grant-making foundation, for the world premiere performances on April 13, 14, 18, and 19, 2012.
