Compare Notes is a beautifully written work for Violin with a fantastic interlocking Piano accompaniment. Written by Nico Muhly this piece beautifully expresses the range of both instruments. The work was commissioned by the McKim Fund in the Library of Congress for Daniel Hope & Jeffrey Kahane.
