Morton Gould was regarded as a composer of both 'serious' and 'popular' music, and he never shied away from mixing the two. Although composing was his main occupation, he was a distinguished conductor. This Suite For Tuba solo and three French Horns consists of a Prelude, Chorale, Waltz, a dignified Elegy and a lively Quickstep.
