The composer writes Eden Roc is the name of a place in the south coast of France where the writer Francis Scott Fitzgerald lived and where he located the beginning of his novel 'Tender is the night'. From that book I partially took the inspiration for Eden Roc, as well as the name itself recall me the idea of an ideal place where you can find your inner balance in the world.
