In 2005, Pete Doherty was the most controversial star in British music and he quickly became a tabloid favourite, courting both fame and notoriety. Known for being a cultural and style icon as much as for his music, his relationship with Kate Moss meant he was never far from the front of the news.

Having co-fronted the Libertines and then having exploded onto the live scene and into the musical press, the first Babyshambles long-player was long awaited and much anticipated. The wait was worthwhile though and Doherty's masterful song-writing and lyrical poise is evident in full force with Down In Albion the striking debut, arranged here in Guitar Tablature.

Down in Albion contains 16 evocative and gritty tracks, punky and powerful this is a typically frank and intimate view of drug abuse with tales of love, loathing, hardship and friendships: stories that Doherty sings well.

Including extracts from the now infamous Books of Albion this is a personal insight and a must for any Babyshambles fan.
